Bay Area: MC, Johnny Ca$h, was murdered on Thursday, March 29 in Vallejo, CA. According to the Vallejo Times, Ca$h was shot in the head multiple times in the parking lot of the Sereno Village Apartment complex. Born Johnny Castaneda Jr., the 25-year-old rapper signed to the late great Mac Dre’s record label, Thizz Entertainment, after Dre passed away in 2004. This affiliation with Mac Dre has lead many to speculate Ca$h’s murder is somehow connected to a string of violence that erupted after Dre’s murder.
